About the conference
How can congregations best help youth become responsible, healthy, whole persons? Learn about various faith-based comprehensive sexuality education programs built upon religious traditions that see sexuality as an integral, natural, and positive part of God's creation. Researcher Rev. Steve Clapp will discuss a groundbreaking study which shows that a comprehensive approach is most effective and reports on the positive outcomes for teens. Workshop participants will explore the benefits and challenges of developing faith-based comprehensive sexuality education programs and learn about helpful resources and practical tools from experienced religious educators and health professionals. For teachers, clergy, and parents of all faiths.
